Presentation : Since the exceptional vintage of 2000, and every year that we are able to, Château Haut Breton Larigaudière has produced a special vintage. It has been named "Le Créateur", a translation of the Flemish family name of the owners "De Schepper". Le Créateur was produced in 2000, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2015. The grape variety is exclusively Cabernet Sauvignon.
AOC: Margaux.
Soil : Clayey gravel, deep and sandy gravel. Subsoil of gravel, alios, clay and limestone.
Ageing : 18 months in French oak barrels, from 10 different coopers, 100% new barrels.
Blend : 100% Cabernet-Sauvignon.
Tasting: This wine has a black color and an explosive nose where a concentration of fruits mixes with vanilla and toast aromas. What the nose tells us, the palate confirms: the wine is rich and fleshy, full of black fruits with an exceptional elegance and length. The tannins are solid and very well structured.
The methods of cultivation are traditional, reasoned and ensure the greatest respect for the soil, the vine and the auxiliary fauna (vineyard certified iso14001 and HVE : high environmental value). Disbudding, de-budding, green harvesting and leaf removal.
