Presentation : Rosé wine elaborated by Bengt & Mette Sundstrom.
AOC : Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence.
Soil : Calcareous clay slopes, very stony.
Ageing : Aged 3 months on fine lees before racking in February. Bottling in early spring.
Blend : Black Grenache ; old vines : 80% Syrah 20%.
Tasting : Light salmon color with bright reflections. Intense nose with aromas of small berries, peach and ripe grapefruit. The palate is remarkably balanced, with a structure as delicate as it is elegant. Nice freshness in the mouth. Long finish of ripe fruit, spices and fresh mint.
Ideal with sushi, salmon tartar, tuna steaks, gambas a la plancha.
