AOC : Saint-Emilion Grand Cru.
Soil : Clay-limestone on a limestone subsoil. 70% on the plateau of Saint-Emilion and 30% on the slopes.
Maturing : 15 months maturing in French oak barrels, from 10 different coopers, of which 70% are new barrels.
Blend : 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet-Franc, 5% Petit Verdot (may vary according to the vintage).
Tasting : The dominant Merlot gives Château Tour Baladoz a dark color with a bouquet marked by red fruits with woody and spicy nuances. Full-bodied and round wine in the mouth with a beautiful structure evolving towards a persistent freshness.
The methods of cultivation are traditional, reasoned and ensure the greatest respect for the soil, the vine and the auxiliary fauna (vineyard certified iso14001 and HVE: high environmental value). Disbudding, de-budding, green harvesting and leaf removal.
