Presentation : A small part of the vineyard is dedicated to the traditional Château Tayet sold on specific markets. It represents a more traditional Bordeaux Supérieur, to be drunk in its youth, highlighting the fruit of the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes selected for this wine.
AOC : Bordeaux Supérieur.
Soil : Clay and silt.
Ageing : 12 months in oak barrels, 50% of which are new.
Blend : 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot.
Tasting : With a beautiful deep ruby color, Château Tayet has a frank and pleasant nose of red fruits. On the palate, it is a wine of good concentration and good length.
The cultivation methods are traditional, reasoned and ensure the greatest respect for the soil, the vine and the auxiliary fauna (vineyard certified iso14001 and HVE: high environmental value). Disbudding, de-budding, green harvesting and leaf removal.
