Presentation : Alain Gayraud, family property for 7 generations. Still red wine made in Soturac, on the terraces of the Lot Valley, 40 km west of Cahors.

AOC : Cahors.

Soil : Varied, 60% clay-limestone, 30% limestone, 10% clay-siliceous.

Ageing : 14 months in barrels, of which 1 third are new, 1 third one year, 1 third two years.

Blend : Cot (90%), tannat (10%).

Tasting : Very beautiful deep purple color, typical of the appellation; very clear and complex nose, with notes of grilled, spices, red fruits and a touch of menthol; we find these aromas in mouth, with notes of gingerbread and a beautiful structure.

Ideal with white meat, red meat, meat in sauce, stewed dishes, small game, game (hare, venison), soft and spicy cheeses.
