Presentation : The great wine Château Haut Breton Larigaudière, Cru Bourgeois, is the result of a know-how and an exceptional soil. It stands out in Margaux by its blend of more than 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, thus exploiting all the potential offered by the terroir to achieve an exceptional aromatic finesse. Structured but elegant, balanced and with solid but silky tannins, Château Haut Breton Larigaudière can compete without blushing with the greatest of the appellation.
AOC : Margaux Cru Bourgeois.
Soil : Clayey gravel, deep and sandy gravel. Subsoils of gravel, alios, clay and limestone.
Ageing : 15 to 20 months in French oak barrels, from 10 different coopers, of which 70% are new.
Blend : 80% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot (may vary according to the vintage).
Tasting : This Margaux immediately reveals its class thanks to its intense and brilliant ruby color and its elegant bouquet of red fruits and vanilla; in the mouth it is distinguished by its power, its sap and its fullness combined with a great freshness.
The methods of cultivation are traditional, reasoned and ensure the greatest respect for the soil, the vine and the auxiliary fauna (vineyard certified iso14001 and HVE: high environmental value). Disbudding, de-budding, green harvesting and leaf removal.
