Presentation : Bruno Colin, who took over the family estate in 2003, makes this red wine in Chassagne-Montrachet, 14 km southwest of Beaune.

AOC : Chassagne-Montrachet.

Soil : Clay and limestone.

Maturing : 14 months in oak barrels (25% of which are new) and 3 to 6 months in vats.

Blend : 100% Pinot Noir.

Tasting : Aroma of red fruits, currant, blackcurrant. Wine quite powerful in their youth, tannins quite present, a little dry. Requires a few years of aging.

Ideal with white meats, red meats, meats in sauce, simmered dishes, small game, game (hare, roe deer), soft cheeses, strong cheeses.
