Presentation : Red wine. Grand Cru Classé in 1855.
AOC : Haut-Médoc.
Blend : 55% Cabernet-sauvignon, 45% merlot.
Tasting : Very dark color where emerge bright purple reflections. Without agitation, a very clear nose with very lively primary notes of red fruits, slightly tinged with new wood. With agitation, these primary notes are reinforced and peppery tones emerge. The attack is very clear. On the palate, the tannins are velvety and show a fine and elegant structure. The body is full, and takes volume in the middle of the mouth. The bigarreau cherry clearly stands out. The black pepper becomes clear. The finish is rich and dense.
