Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux, France - Château Cantemerle 2015

Price includes taxes

Presentation : Red wine. Grand Cru Classé in 1855.

AOC : Haut-Médoc.

Soil : Gravel soil.

Ageing : Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels of which 40% are new. Very light fining.

Blend : 60% cabernet-sauvignon, 30% merlot, 4% petit verdot, 6% cabernet franc.

Tasting : The wine has an elegant, dark color with black cherry reflections and a nose slightly marked by the oaky taste, which will fade gradually. The usual aromas of Cantemerle dominate the palate: spices, tobacco, blackcurrant. The attack is firm, appetizing, with well-melted tannins and a fruity finish, enhanced by a pleasant freshness. Beautiful wine, fruity, concentrated, fine, in phase with the nobility of its terroir.

To be enjoyed with poultry, hot meats or mushrooms.
