Presentation : Since the exceptional vintage of 2000 and all the years that allow us to do so, at Château Haut Breton Larigaudière, a special vintage is elaborated. It has been named "Le Créateur", a translation of the family name of Flemish origin of the owners "De Schepper". Le Créateur was produced in 2000, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2015 and 2017. The grape variety is exclusively Cabernet Sauvignon.
AOC : Margaux.
Soil : Clayey gravel, deep and sandy gravel. Subsoil of gravel, alios, clay and limestone.
Ageing : 18 months in French oak barrels, from 10 different coopers, 100% new barrels.
Blend : 100% Cabernet-Sauvignon.
Tasting : This wine has an inky black color and an explosive nose where a concentration of fruits mixes with vanilla and toast aromas. What the nose tells us, the palate confirms: the wine is rich and fleshy, full of black fruits with an exceptional elegance and length. The tannins are solid and very well structured.
The methods of cultivation are traditional, reasoned and ensure the greatest respect for the soil, the vine and the auxiliary fauna (vineyard certified iso14001 and HVE: high environmental value). Disbudding, de-budding, green harvesting and leaf removal.
